Act Five - Scene One

Romeo didn't know how he was going to find Juliet all he knew was that she was on the other side of the planet and that it would take a lot of money to go there. He knew by the time difference that she must be somewhere near Tahiti. The plane fare to Tahiti was more money than he had by far and he decided to sell his car and borrow money from friends to scrape enough together for the trip. He quit a promising job and got the next plane to Tahiti. He knew a little French and most important of all he had Juliet's rl photo that she had sent while they were dancing. His plan was to just ask everyone he met if they recognized the girl in this photo. He wasn't in Tahiti for long before he found someone who recognized her and learned the whereabouts of the family home in Aukura. The only way there was by boat and it was a long slow ride but finally he arrived almost penniless, looking worn and an unkempt. He made his way from the dock to the post office and inquired there for directions to the family residence. The house was large and surrounded by trees only a stones throw from the beach and brilliantly colored lagoon. As he made his way up to the porch he could see a grey haired old man sitting at cluttered desk busily typing in front of a large computer screen.

[2011/09/11 16:42] Old Man: Look I am not gay ok, I am writing a book about love on the internet and i needed some first hand information

[2011/09/11 16:43] Old Man: I am sorry to have deceived you and when i saw how far overboard you were going I had to find a way to put you off, I knew that given enough time you would eventually forget about Juliet, you only talked on a few occasions!

Act Five - Scene Two

No amount of words could describe what Romeo felt, he was stunned and speechless as he turned and walked back towards the beach. He sat down underneath a large tree overlooking the beach and sparkling lagoon. What a fool he had been, he thought to himself. His whole life thrown away for this cruel joke, this ironic twist of destiny. How could he go back and face the ridicule of his friends and family, his life seemed no longer worth living, a deep depression swept over him and he stared blankly at the sandy beach in front of him, almost completely unaware of where he was. But just then in the corner of his eye he saw someone approaching along the beach. It was a girl busily tapping some message on her smart phone, when she looked up he was amazed to see that it was the girl in photo, she clicked her smart phone and a song began playing, it was Foreigner, and a coy smile crept across the girls face

[2011/09/11 17:00] Linda: Hi, my name is Juliet :)
